Challenge – Favorite Holiday
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I get to spend time with family without the snow, shopping and stress of Christmas.
For the Cards in Envy Favorite Holiday challenge I created this card.
I dug through my stash and pulled out some paper from an old Recollections paper pad (Harvest Delight) that I’d been saving. I don’t know about you, but I have a ton of paper that is just “too pretty” to use. I cut the printed papers and matted them with some rust cardstock. While looking through supplies and trying to decide if I should emboss the sentiment, I found a small jar of bronze micro beads. These are another of the “too pretty to use” stash items. I decided to skip the embossing and instead add the micro beads to a few of the leaves on the sentiment. They added a bit of sparkle without the bulk of sequins or brads.

I have that same problem with not using stuff because it’s too pretty. 😄Beautiful Thanksgiving card! Thanks for joining us at Cards in Envy!
